Useful Links for DashCon Attendees
I’m not an attorney and I’m not at DashCon, but if I was there, I think these might be useful links for me if I felt an out-of-state entity had committed an act of fraud against me.
Now if I was going to use these links and get involved with a bunch of legal professionals, I would definitely remember to conduct myself in a calm, collected, professional manner. I’m 27, but if I was under 18, I would make sure to talk to my parents about the fact I was defrauded and ask them to contact the relevant authorities.
I would definitely hang on to everything I have from DashCon. Every email, every letter (especially every letter), and I’d make sure to take copious notes if I ever got a phone call from anyone claiming to be associated with the event. I would also take plenty of pictures and make sure to keep track of the experiences of other people there.
This isn’t advice, of course, I’m not qualified to give legal advice. This is just what I’d do if I was in this situation. Follow your hearts, ducklings.
